So why are jewelry boxes great? Well the most obvious reason is undoubtedly the one most would agree with. The jewelry box is home to jewelry. This may be one single item of jewelry, it may be many. Either way, people own jewelry because they like it and they want to look after it as best they can. This therefore means that every time they want their jewelry they have to dip into their jewelry box to retrieve it.
People also use jewelry boxes because they mean something to those that use them. They hold particular items of jewelry that make them feel good about themselves. For example, if someone is dipping into their jewelry box for their favourite necklace, they are looking to do one of two things; they are either looking to hold the necklace and appreciate how nice they think it is. By doing this they feel closer to the necklace and connect with all the memories they have with it. They may also wear the necklace, again re-connecting with the memories associated with it but also because of how the necklace makes them feel.
Diamonds are another item that really makes people feel good. Diamonds are beautiful gemstones that have so many rich qualities that people love to buy them. The saying 'diamonds are a girls best friend' really does ring true because there are so many good qualities about diamonds and they really do make people feel like a million dollars. However many diamonds one may have, diamonds still need to be stored somewhere. Can you guess the destination? Yes, the diamonds will be stored once again in the jewelry box.
So the jewelry box really is great as it makes people feel, well great. They are taking their most treasured items out of storage to look at, hold, use or whatever it may be. People do not only do this for jewelry though. People want to feel good in other ways too as having a feel-good attitude can only be beneficial. This is especially apparent in the world today as people go about their business in their own way. Some like to buy expensive cars such as the new Audi R8, which has been recognised as the best car of 2007. The car itself can make people feel alive when driving it whilst at the same time they feel important, significant and special. Others prefer to buy designer goods such as a Lacoste watch or a Police bracelet as this does more to help their self-esteem as they look for approval from onlookers. Either way, people like do to everything possible to feel good.
So having seen that the people will do anything in their power to feel good, it is important to recognise what is important to them. Whether this is buying an Audi R8 or pulling out the necklace that means so much to them people want to feel like they are worth something.
